Boredom Busters Pet Care provides a HIGH STANDARD of reliable, interactive, in-home pet care.
Boredom Busters Pet Care LLC began providing services as a way to help pet owners with busy schedules satisfy their needs for high quality pet care. Visits made by our staff are filled with attention, affection, and the exercise your pet needs and craves.

To maintain this high standard we are commited to the following:
All pet care providers, pet sitters and dog walkers alike, who have been selected to work with Boredom Busters Pet Care are: experienced in animal care; reference checked; completed a Background Screening through ADP. Each of our pet care providers will bring a list of references, a complete list of fees, as well as our policies and procedures at EVERY consultation.

Dog Walking

Long days at work can leave your pet under exercised, lonely, and bored.
Your companion pet surely deserves more than a dull day.
Select from one of our day time programs and we can have your pet once again enjoying the great outdoors!

Mid-Day Dog walking
A fun filled, “sniff n’ go” neighborhood walk, on-leash, is a fantastic way to break up the day while you are at work. Visits are 20 – 30 minutes in length with one of our pet care professionals.

Cancellations:
Each of our Perpetual Pet Care clients has a reserved slot in one of our walker’s limited schedules.
Therefore, daily cancellations will not reduce your bill. If you must cancel a dog walk, please call our office at 973-770-2229 by 9am, to ensure your walker receives the message.

Holidays:
Our dog walking program is not in service on the following holidays:
New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
Although we do provide service on other federal holidays, you are not charged if you decide to cancel a holiday in advance.
If service is needed on a holiday, please schedule pet sitting service through the main office. Please be advised that holiday pet sitting services do fill quickly. Book as early as possible to avoid disappointment.

Billing:
Invoices are submitted to each client via email or regular mail on the last week of each month. Prepayment of services is expected. You may choose to pay by check or automatic payment through your credit card.

Late Payment:
Invoices are considered past due once service begins. A late fee of $25.00 per 30 days, per invoice will be accrued.

Puppy Potty Breaks
“Quickie” style visits are designed to give your puppy his well needed potty break while you are at work. These visits allow for him to relieve himself on a regular schedule aiding in housebreaking. Potty breaks can be scheduled twice daily while housebreaking.
Currently this service is available to pups up to 6 months old.
After six months, mid-day dog walking services are recommended.

Daytime Playtime Adventure Hikes

Say ‘goodbye’ to the confinement of your home and ‘hello’ to a sniff, romp, and play day! Out and about with our pet care professionals and other dogs of similar activity levels; your pet will enjoy the adventure of hiking at a pet friendly park. Dogs are allowed to ‘be dogs’ during their hike through grass, dirt, water, and mountainous terrain.
Each outing includes transportation, hiking time, clean fresh water, and a snack.
A day away filled with this much stimulation and exercise is welcomed by large and small
dogs alike. Best of all, upon return home you will be greeted by a tired and happy pet!
Hikes are a minimum of 1 hour of actual exercise. Transportation is provided at no additional cost.

Vacation and Business Trip Care

The best Boredom Busting Services have been created for your pet’s needs while you are away! We are able to care for cats, dogs, birds and other small animals.

Overnight Stays within your home*
“Feed, play and matinee!”
Your pet will love having a warm human body to stay overnight with him/her while you are away. Feeding, playtime and even curling up to a good movie on TV are all included in this choice of services. The additional safety to your home and the quality time spent with your pet family is truly uncompromised.
$70.00 per evening, 12 hours in length
* Additional mid-day visits may be necessary and will be priced separately.

‘Family-Style’ Boarding
A vacation for your pet…
Your mannerly, well socialized family pet may prefer a vacation of his own within one of our BB Host Homes. Boredom Busters Bed and Biscuit Host Homes are private homes occupied by pet lovers with or without children and other pets. Each home is prescreened for pet friendliness and safety. A pet’s introductory visit to a host home is mandatory before accepting a request. Please be truthful when completing a behavior profile of your pet so we match him to the most appropriate home and/or service to fit his needs.
$70.00 for one pet per night
$35.00 for second pet

Pleasurable Pet Sitting
Fun, activity filled or quiet companionship visits can be scheduled for in your home while you are traveling. We match the amount of playtime and interaction craved to the disposition of your pet. ‘Happy-Go-Lucky’ dogs may relish playtime and invigorating walks. While a more composed but shy kitty may enjoy a more passive activity to investigate after we have left. Pet sitting visits are a minimum of thirty minutes in length.
$20 per 30 minute visit.
$5.00 each additional dog
$3.00 each additional cat, or caged pet

*Adventure hikes may be added into your pet’s vacation routine if requested. Hike fee will apply.
